FIA Punishments
I’ve never been one to question steward decisions even if as a Ferrari fan I knew they were not always fair. But handing the race win to Felipe Massa has gone far enough! I mean the stewards issued no warning during the race that Lewis Hamilton was to be investigated for his passing move on Kimi Raikkonen and he even gave Kimi the place back and had to repass Kimi which was no easy feat in itself. Last race, Massa was not issued with the expected pit stop drive through penalty.
Now I know that Formula One exists for Ferrari and that the FIA are pro-Ferrari and of course this pleases me as a Ferrari fan (Kimi, Schumi et al) but please! This is ridiculous and does nothing to enhance the repuation of the sport. Although there’s no such thing as bad news, Lewis was clearly robbed. The FIA decisions are highly embarrassing to the sport and the fans.
