Button is Mr Monaco baby yeah!

Jenson Button had a wonderful race with a commanding 15 second lead. Barichello mugged Kimi Raikkonen at the start to take 2nd.  The chosen one Sebastian Vettel got a DNF after a lapse of concentration left him kissing the barrier at St. Devote. Massa took 3rd despite being passed by Rosberg after fluffing up an attempting overtake on Vettel.  What was amusing was that he reckons he could have had Kimi - I don’t reckon.  Alonso got a point or two.  Lewis Hamilton may have had zero points but at least he provided entertainment with his overtaking and spirited drive.

The funniest thing was listening Nelson Piquet branding Sebastien Buemi as a young driver making rookie mistakes for taking him out of the race - spoken like a true old hand!

Is Button ready to win the championship? Yes.  Is Vettel? No, not yet. He needs more time to serve his apprenticeship and in a year or two could very well be better placed to challenge for championships and even win one.
