Virgin sponsors Brawn

You could see on the BBC coverage much was being made and exploited to the maximum by Sir Richard Branson for getting his brand and making much association with the Australian GP qualifying front runner  Brawn GP.  Rumours are he hasn’t even sent the cheque to Brawn GP as overheard from Nick Fry yet the stickers are on there.  

Branson also has a clean fuel to peddle which is interesting which might upset some key sponsors like Petronas, Shell and Total Elf.  I guess it will come down to whether the fuel will be free, useable, against the benefits received from the oil companies in terms of sponsorship revenues and fuel costs (if any).

I think its great to have Virgin’s involvement in F1, I only hope its for real.
