Heikki takes maiden win at the Hungaroring!

Felipe Massa took the start from Lewis Hamilton in good aggressive racing fashion piercing any aura of racing invincibility that Lewis tried to create by emulating Schumacher.  Alonso got a good start to take Kimi Raikkonen at the start and maintained his position from the first pitstops.  Hamilton suffered further when the inside of his front left tyre shredded to give him an unscheduled pitstop to replaced the punctured tyre.  Vettel unfortunately stopped early due to an engine failure of overheating in the pit stop.

Raikkonen does well to put in a spirited drive once he cleared Alonso and pulled away in fresh air.  Unusually there were a few flash fires in the pit lane which has been attributed to hot temperatures igniting the minute drops in the fuel rig.

Towards the end, Massa suffers an engine failure and is forced to retire in the race, as a result, Heikki takes the win.  There was an interesting battle as Kimi was looking to take Glock but he turned his engine down to preserve the points.  Alsono finished ahead of Hamilton to take 4th.

What an excellent race and who said Hungary makes for a boring race!
